Outlook 2016 for Mac shared office 365 calendar items not showing Hi I have a shared calendar on an Office 365 system that I can see perfectly when using Outlook 2013 on a PC.
Hi mike, since bobh9785 uses on-premise exchange accounts in outlook for mac and you use office 365 business accounts, the issue is different. If you don’t use office 365 business accounts, please let me know. To narrow down the issue, i’d like to collect some information: 1. about public folders disappeared, can you provide more detailed information? For example, did it appear after you delete email account and re-set up it again in outlook for mac or miss it after restarting outlook for mac? 2. how many users have the same issue? 3. if some computers work well, can you set up the problematic account on these computers to check whether the issue persists? 4. does the issue occur for all public folders?
You can create a new one to test it. 5. have you tried creating a new identity? (1) in finder, browse to the application folder. Press ctrl and then click microsoft outlook to see the contextual menu, and then click show package contents.
(2) in the contents sharedsupport folder, double-click outlook profile manager. In the outlook profile manager window, click the add button and give the profile a name. Next, click the options button and click set as default. Best regards, erick. Hi Erick, Thanks for your response. About public folders disappeared, can you provide more detailed information?
For example, did it appear after you delete email account and re-set up it again in Outlook for Mac or miss it after restarting Outlook for Mac? The public folders disappear randomly. As far as I know now they disappeared during the following stages. restarting Outlook for Mac (not every restart) - while actively using the Mac - when waking up the Mac 2. How many users have the same issue? Around 75% of the users (60 users) reported the issue. The other 25% did not report anything.
If some computers work well, can you set up the problematic account on these computers to check whether the issue persists? My personal account is on two MacBook's which both have the issue. Does the issue occur for all public folders? You can create a new one to test it.
Public folders for contact and calendar disappear at the same time. Have you tried creating a new identity? This did not resolve the issue. Thanks in advance! Best regards, Mike.
Hi mike, to better troubleshoot this issue, i would like to collect some information as below: 1. When the public folders disappear from your outlook client, what’s the connection status of your outlook client? Here is an example of the connection status: 2. When the public folders show up on your outlook client, what's the connection status of your outlook client? Please capture two screenshots of the two situations(step 1and step 2) for further analysis.
To upload screenshots, click use rich formatting insert edit media. You can try to use my test account and verify whether the public folder still disappears. To see the private message, please perform the following steps: 1. Go to the 'your details' section on the right side of the community site.
